The Experimental Space
This newest alternative space in LIC was created and professionally designed for small exhibitions and private viewing. Our 800SF, 35 ½ feet x 23 feet, 12ft ceilings, white walls and 4500 watts of halogen dimmed lights make it the ideal space for an artist to display their work.
The space is also equipped to a variety of work including video, sound and three dimensional art works. It is our goal to make this space a destination to all artists and art lovers looking for a unique experience with showing and looking at art work. Our Mission
It is our commitment to create an environment where established and emerging artists can thrive in their work and their career in the arts, and to establish a place where gallery directors, curators, collectors, writers, designers and architects can find high-quality, fresh and progressive ideas in art. We achieve this by carefully selecting our artists, encouraging their input and supporting their interaction to ensure a better experience while at Reis Studios. We continuously encourage new projects to interact with the greater community of Long Island City, including artist talks, workshops, open studios, group and solo shows, internships, visiting artist programs and visiting curators.
